The Long Beach Waterfront Warriors
With the support of the Long Beach Barrier Island Community in New York, we bring wounded veterans and their families to our beautiful locales for free twice a year — during the summer and during the holidays in December.
We hold Fundraisers
In the Summer we have our Summer Visits
• We welcome our heroes with love!
• We have a 5K race.
• We have a parade through the west end of Long Beach followed by a BBQ at Long Beach Catholic Regional School
• We have fishing, beach days, surfing, salon visits, a trip to New York City, dinners at local restaurants and a farewell dinner in Pt. Lookout!
In the Winter we have Holiday for the Heroes
• We have a trip to NYC to see the Rockettes and the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall.
• We have an afternoon part with Santa at the Lido-Pt. Lookout Firehouse
